True faith in the face of persecution is not the ability to simply believe but the ability to believe irrespective of the contrary evidence. The challenge is that when face with persecution and trial, hope seems to be dashed, all evidence we hold onto as a prove to our faith would seem to be gone. The substance of our faith will appear not it and not worth the struggle. On the contrary, the voice of the enemy, Satan seems to become louder crushing our spiritual fibres and convincing us that his activities are not what we have thought all along. And he makes the opposite side of life so appealing and captivating.

This is where the real struggle lies- true faith in the face of adversity; holding on against all the contrasting evidences and proves. This is the propagandistic activities of Satan been aided by everything around us in the society. the effort is to deceive us to think and see less or no evil in Satan and what he does and then become weird of God and His work. Most people lack the strength to see through what simply lies on the surface readily made appealing by the enemy of their souls. Thus the choice of the popular culture and impulse to follow the crowd is so strong that an average Christian and fickle congregation can stand up to.

When tried and tempted, satan tries to control our perception so that we lack the knowledge and understanding of the truth. What is wrong appears to be right and normal. The scripture is the only remedy through which its lenses we are able to know the truth. The ability to know the truth, hold onto it in the face of trouble is what we need for faith in times of trials. When satan attacks, he attacks the truth, blurred our vision and knowledge and change our perception of the truth. Very often than not only a few invariably see through faith the overwhelming activities of Satan to behold the blessed hope lying beyond the momentary struggle.
